Common questions

Resources: FAQs

Where can I check Super Visa processing times?

On IRCC's 'Check processing times' page. Choose Visitor visa and your country. Times change weekly, so check close to when you apply.

What is the minimum income for a Super Visa in 2026?

It depends on family size: $30,526 for 1 person, $38,002 for 2, $46,720 for 3 and $56,724 for 4 (IRCC table updated July 29, 2025). Since March 31, 2026 you can also qualify with 75% of the amount plus your parent's own income. Use our Super Visa income checker.

How do I find my RRSP and TFSA contribution room?

Sign in to CRA My Account. Your RRSP deduction limit is also on your latest notice of assessment. Our calculators help you estimate it.

Are visitors and international students covered by OHIP?

No. Ontario says visitors from outside Canada do not qualify for OHIP, and international students can't get it based on student status. Universities use UHIP; others need private insurance.

Are these tools free?

Yes. All calculators and checklists on insureincanada.ca are free and don't ask for your contact details. If you want help, you can send your results to Pankaj on WhatsApp.

How often is this information updated?

We review it when governments publish new numbers: tax brackets and RRSP/TFSA limits each January, UHIP and study permit amounts each August, and Super Visa rules whenever IRCC changes them. Last reviewed October 17, 2026.
